It
has been our dream for many years to be a church
of multiple locations. In the past year many opportunities
have come our way but none of them were a good fit for
us. In October of this year I received a call from
the Assemblies of God Louisiana District office about
an incredible opportunity in Baker Louisiana. After
touring the facility and spending time in Baker it didn’t
take long for our team to realize that this was an answer
to our prayers. The campus is 9000 square feet on
Groom Road between the high school and middle school and
it’s just a few blocks from the new Super Wal-Mart.
Now here’s the miracle, the Assemblies gave the property
to us debt free, now that’s a great deal, and it shows
the heart of our awesome Louisiana District officials.
Our plan is to plant a multicultural, outreach oriented
church to reach all of Baker and North Baton Rouge sometime
in early 2008. We have a lot of repairs and remodeling
to take care of before that will be possible. I
want to ask you to look at the information and pray about
partnering with us.

Where it was |

The building was built in the 70’s and is in
need of a lot of exterior repairs. The structure is sound
and it has a lot of potential. |

Where we're
going |

As you can see, the work has already started
on the exterior. We’ve done major repairs to the roof and
painted the entire exterior of the campus.

Immediate
Needs and Goals |

Our goal is to modernize the entire campus
eventually. Right now we are focusing on the immediate
needs so we can plant the church. At that point the church
will be able to fund and complete the project. Our
immediate needs are: Interior paint, carpeting, restroom
remodeling, sound panels, lighting, projection system, and
sound equipment. |

It is our vision to plant a multicultural, outreach oriented
church with an inner city flow. We will be planting
the church with a full staff, youth and kids ministry. |
